You can use this to:
Whitelist: Always allow emails from specific addresses or domains.
Blacklist: Always block emails from specific addresses or domains.
These settings apply to all email accounts under your hosting account.
How to Access Spam Filter Settings?
1. Log in to your cPanel account.
2. Scroll to the Email section.
3. Click on Spam Filters
4. Click “Show Additional Configuration”
You’ll now see Whitelist (Emails Always Allowed) and Blacklist (Emails Always Blocked) sections.
How to Add a Whitelist Entry?
1. Under Whitelist (Emails Always Allowed), click “Edit Spam Whitelist Settings”.
2. Enter the email address or domain you want to allow:
- To whitelist a full address: Eg, person@trustdomain.com
- To whitelist all emails from a domain: Eg, *@trustdomain.com
3. Click “Update Whitelist (whitelist_from)” to save
How to Add a Blacklist Entry?
1. Under Blacklist (Emails Always Blocked), click “Edit Spam Blacklist Settings”.
2. Enter the email address or domain you want to block:
- To block a specific sender: Eg, spammer@spamdomain.com
- To block all emails from a domain: Eg, *@spamdomain.com
3. Click “Update Blacklist (blacklist_from)” to save.
