Email Client Settings

Use these settings to connect your email account to any email client (Outlook, Thunderbird, Apple Mail, etc.). Your email client must have password authentication enabled for the outgoing mail server.

IMAP (Recommended)
IMAP keeps your emails synced across all your devices. Any changes you make, such as reading, deleting, or moving messages, are reflected everywhere. Because all mail stays on the server, your mailbox can grow quickly, so archive old messages regularly.

SSL Settings (Recommended)
If your domain does not have its own SSL certificate, use onlinec1.hostduty.com as the server hostname.

Incoming Server: onlinec1.hostduty.com
IMAP Port: 993 (SSL)

Outgoing Server: onlinec1.hostduty.com
SMTP Port: 465 (SSL)

You must enable SMTP authentication for outgoing mail, or sending will fail.

POP
POP downloads mail to a single device and typically removes it from the server. Use this only if you access email from one device and want to keep messages stored locally.

SSL Settings (Recommended)
If your domain does not have its own SSL certificate, use onlinec1.hostduty.com as the server hostname.

Incoming Server: onlinec1.hostduty.com
POP Port: 995 (SSL)

Outgoing Server: onlinec1.hostduty.com
SMTP Port: 465 (SSL)

You must enable SMTP authentication for outgoing mail, or sending will fail.

SMTP Port Blocked by Your ISP?
Some internet providers block the default SMTP ports. If you cannot send mail, try these alternatives:
SSL: use port 587
Non-SSL: use port 26

Webmail Access
You can access your email from a browser in two ways:

1. www.yourdomain.com/webmail (replace with your actual domain)
2. https://onlinec1.hostduty.com:2096/

Non-SSL Settings

Warning: Non-SSL connections are not encrypted. Your login credentials and email content are sent in plain text, which means they can be intercepted. Use SSL wherever possible. Only use these settings if SSL is not an option for your setup.

IMAP (Non-SSL)
Incoming Server: onlinec1.hostduty.com
IMAP Port: 143

Outgoing Server: onlinec1.hostduty.com
SMTP Port: 25

POP (Non-SSL)
Incoming Server: onlinec1.hostduty.com
POP Port: 110

Outgoing Server: onlinec1.hostduty.com
SMTP Port: 25

You must enable SMTP authentication for outgoing mail, or sending will fail.
